MeatBall Curry


Ingredients;

Meat balls.

500 gms mince ( i used chicken)
1 egg beaten lightly
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp red chilli powder/bottle masala
5-6 garlic cloves finely chopped
1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
2 onions grated
2tbsp coriander leaves chopped fine
1 tbsp mint leaves
 lime juice as needed
pepper to taste
salt to taste
oil to deep fry


For the gravy
 Masala grind to paste
4-5 tbsp dessicated coconut
1 tsp poppy seeds/khus khus
1 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp garam masala powder
5-6 kashmiri dry chillies
2 green chillies
1 inch ginger
6-7 garlic cloves
 2 onions chopped roughly.

Gravy
1 tomato chopped
Curry leaves
Salt to taste


Method:

Mix all the Ingredients under meat balls except the oil ..Make small balls and deep fry over  medium heat till golden brown ..keep aside. (you can even serve these as starters )

Dry roast all the ingredients under masala except the garam masala powder  add little water then grind to a fine  paste.

In a vessel heat 2 tbsp of the oil used for frying meat balls add curry leaves then add tomatoes fry well on medium heat till mushy .

Now add the the masala paste fry well  once it starts leaving oil  add the garam masala powder add water as needed and bring it to a nice boil .Simmer and add the the fried meat balls let it boil well ,check for salt and lime juice add if needed.

Serve hot with rice/bread
