Crispy Sticky Chicken Wings/Chicken Sticky Wings Recipe


Crispy Chicken Wings /Crispy Chinese Sticky Chicken Wings are one of the most ordered appetizer..Crispy chicken wings tossed in delicious sticky sauce taste absolutely delish ..Sticky Wings/Crispy Sticky wings are always a huge  hit at parties .There are many recipes for sticky wings on the internet which calls for too much baking powder  which leaves an alkaline taste in the mouth which most of us don't like .My recipe is simple and straightforward it has no baking powder no baking soda .You give this absolute crowd pleasing sticky wings a try and win many accolades.

ingredients
1/2 kg  chicken wings
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp pepper powder

1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chilli sauce
 2  tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp oil +for  shallow frying
4 to 5 cloves garlic minced
1 inch ginger minced
spring onion
Method 

  • Wash the chicken wings and drain excess water .
  • Apply salt ,ginger garlic paste pepper powder and lime juice and marinate well for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Add cornflour mix well .
  • Heat oil in a frying pan,once hot shallow fry until crisp and done.
  • remove the wings on a plate lined with absorbent paper.
  • In the same pan add minced garlic and ginger and saute for few minutes until light brown.
  • Now mix in the soy and the chilli sauce
  • And add the brown sugar ,mix well for few minutes until you get a sticky sauce.
  • Mix in the fried wings and let the sauce coat the wings well
  • Lastly add spring onion green and serve them right away.


notes
you can bake the wings if you prefer you may need to add baking powder in that case.
make sure the chicken wings are completely dry,after draining excess water you may pat dry them on an absorbent paper.
sauces can be adjusted according to your taste
