Mince Hot Dogs taste absolutely delicious rolls/ hot dogs stuffed with spicy ,sour slightly sweet mince . Making Mince Hot dogs at home is very easy .Once you have the mince filling ready you can make delicious hot dogs If the hot dogs roll are not available you can use the filling to make sandwiches or use ladi pav/dinner rolls as well .
Mince HotDog,chicken Pattice and meatloaf sandwich was our regular Sunday breakfast after Sunday mass..We used to enjoy those delicious hot chicken Pattice from a nearby bakery and mom always made Meatloaf and mince for hot dogs for weekends .Back then Mince hot dogs rolled in butter paper were popular party/picnic snack .
for the filling
300 grams Mince(you can use beef/mutton/chicken)
2 big or 3 med sized onions finely chopped
2 to 3 tbsp oil
salt to taste
for the masala paste
8 to 10 kashmiri chillies
1 inch ginger
1 tbsp cumin seeds/jeera
8 to 10 garlic
4 to 5 cloves
1 inch cinnamon
8 to 10 peppercorns
1/4 cup vinegar or as required
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup vinegar or as required

Method
Wash the mince and drain excess water
Apply salt and set aside.
Soak the dried kashmiri chillies in warm water for 15 to 20 min.
Grind chillies,garlic,ginger cinnamon,cloves and pepper together adding vinegar to a smooth fine paste.
Heat a pan,add oil once hot add finely chopped onions and saute well till translucent and raw smell goes away.
Add the ground paste and saute for 10 to 15 min on low flame till raw smell goes away and the oil leaves sides .
Add the Mince and saute for another 8 to 10 min until all mixes well.
Add around 1/1/2 to 2 cup water and let it cook well over med flame
Add sugar ,check for salt add if required
the mince should be semi dry yet without gravy/water.
Allow to cool completely then stuff in hot dog buns and enjoy.
