Badami Murg/Chicken cooked in Almond and Cream.

Recently I tried this dish out since i had lots of Almonds ..I also made a cake n some sweets..This particular dish has almonds as its main ingredient ..almonds are blanched and made into paste along with cream ...the final product is a creamy rich chicken gravy which is now our new favourite and will be doing it quite often .its very easy, do give it a try.
 750 gms Chicken
15 -18 almonds blanched
1 cup cream
 1 tsp poppy seeds 1 tsp sesame seeds both soaked in 1tbsp warm water
4 onions sliced and fried till golden brown
2 tomatoes
2 green chillies
1 .5 tbsp ginger garlic paste
handful of mint and coriander leaves
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp bottle masala/meat masala
2 tbsp oil or 1 tbsp butter n 1 tbsp oil
2-3 bay leaves.
salt to taste.

Marinate the chicken  pieces with salt and ginger garlic paste and set aside for 1 hour minimum.
Grind together the fried onions ,tomatoes,cream,mint and coriander leaves ,poppy seeds,sesame seeds and almonds to a smooth fine paste.
Heat the vessel add oil/ then add bay leaves and marinated chicken on medium flame fry the chicken for about 7 minutes.
Then add the paste,masalas and mix well add water and bring it to a nice boil.
Once the chicken is cooked simmer and check for salt. .Add more water if required and boil for 5 minutes.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve..
