Chicken Tikka Pasta/Chicken Tikka Macaroni Recipe

I love pastas/macaroni but i prefer it to be on a spicy side than the plain creamy ones...Chicken tikka is my favourite so i thought of adding it to pasta..This Chicken Tikka pasta was so delicious that there was wiped out in no time...I have used small bite size chicken chunks ..you can simply shred the chicken tikka and use it....


Ingredients
for the chicken marination
250 gms boneless chicken
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp red chillipowder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
salt .


500 gms  pasta/macaroni
3 tbsp curds
2 tbsp cream
2 tomatoes chopped
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp oregano
salt
1 capsicum cut in cubes
oil


Method:

  • Marinate the chicken cubes/chunks  with all the ingredients mentioned and keep aside for 15-20 mins.
  • Grill/pan fry the chicken and cook til done.
  • Boil pasta with salt water and 1 tsp oil ..boil till al dente
  • Drain the excess water and put 1 tsp oil so that pasta doesn't stick
  • Heat  a pan add oil then add  capsicum and chopped tomatoes and let it cook till mushy.
  • Then add the  curds and masalas and 1/2 tsp sugar .
  •  Saute till it leaves oil
  • Add the chicken pieces and mix then add pasta
  • Add cream oregano and chilli flakes  and toss it well coated .
  • Serve hot.
