Butter Cake/Butter Cake Recipe

Butter Cake is one of the most loved tea time cake.Butter cake is rich buttery and so moist cake which is very easy to make .Butter cake is made with simple ingredients available easily in your pantry .There is no fancy ingredient used in making a simple yet delicious butter cake .Butter Cake is a classic buttery cake which is utterly butterly delicious . 

This is a very simple yet rich and soft Butter Cake .This has been in my drafts since long somehow it was overtaken by another post today i thought i should publish it. I have always preferred butter cakes than any other specially pound  cakes.This cake is a real winner.You'll absolutely love it .I always make this for Rosaries or for tea time when we have guest over.I'm sure you too will love this buttery soft cake.The recipe is simple and easy to follow .

Ingredients
125 gms butter room temperature
100 gm sugar (powdered)
100 gms all purpose flour/maida
2 tbsp milk
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

• Pre heat the oven at 180 degree for 10 min.
• Sift the flour ,baking powder and keep aside.
• Line a 6 inch baking tin with parchment or butter paper
• In a bowl whisk butter and Sugar till its creamy and fluffy
• Add one egg and beat
• Add another egg and vanilla extract and beat well till fluffy
• Now mix in the sifted flour .Mix using a spatula or beat on lowest speed .
• Add milk and mix well
• Pour the batter in well greased 6 inch pan
• Bake for 35 to 45 min at 180 degree till the skewer comes out clean.

i have used salted butter hence skipped the salt,you may add 1/4 tsp salt tot he flour and sift
